My scripture for this worship encounter with God is from Philippians chapter three.

That's the text I believe God wants to speak to us through today.

version, the one that says in IV, if you're pulling it up on a Bible app or something,

and you can pull it up with me, or it'll just be right on the screens.

And I like to read you verses seven through sixteen to get a full context of what Paul is

saying in this passage.

He said, but whatever word gains to me, I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

But as more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ,

Jesus, my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.

I consider them garbage that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having the righteousness

of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness

that comes from God on the basis of faith.
