We are still doing Surah Ibrahim, verse 22, and I said that this ayah is so profound

and it can be interpreted in different ways. Yesterday, we followed one interpretation

where the kalim al-Tayiba is that of la ilaha illa Allah, which is Iman.

Today, we're going to move on to another interpretation, which is mentioned by many ulama, including

Ibn Al-Jawzi, and also the famous Mufassal Ibn Aashur, he said this interpretation

in his opinion makes more sense. That is that, when Allah says, haven't you seen the

example of the kalim al-Tayiba? Here, he says the kalim al-Tayiba is the Qur'an itself,

the speech of Allah, because the Qur'an is the most beautiful speech, and it is the kalam

of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So the kalim al-Tayiba is the Qur'an, and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

and then says, using this now analogy of the kalim al-Tayiba, that the kalim al-Tayiba

is a beautiful tree, and the more you recite the Qur'an, the deeper it goes into the heart,

and the more the Qur'an will be entrenched, and the more your love for the Qur'an and Iman

will grow. Kashajarat an-Tayiba t-in Asluha Thabit wa Faruhafis Samaa, the Qur'an will

raise you up, and this is in the Hadith, there are prophets, Allahu alayhi wa sallam said

that verily, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will raise up some people via this book, may Allah

make us amongst them, and he shall debase other people. And we know from the Hadith

in Bukhari, there are prophets, Allahu alayhi wa sallam said, it will be said to the companion

of the Qur'an, sahib al-Quran, on the day of judgment, to recite and rise up, for every

verse he recites, he will go one level higher. So the concept of rising up through the Qur'an,

it is very explicit in the Qur'an and in the Sunnah. So here we have the example, therefore

of the Qur'an, that the Shajarat an-Tayiba t-in Asluha Thabit wa Faruhafis Samaa, t-i-Ukula
