Today, we're going to do Surah Bakr verse 260.

If you remember, our series is about powerables and aphorisms.

And by aphorisms, I mean those Quranic phrases that are so powerful

that they have become a part of the common vernacular of the Arabs.

And the phrase that I have in mind today, verse 260,

is a very famous Quranic phrase.

And this is a lot of benefits that we can derive from this beautiful phrase.

Where does this phrase occur?

1:00.0

Once he has argued with the king Nimrod, the evil king Nimrod,

and he says to Nimrod,

1:07.0

My Lord, can bring the dead back to life and he causes death.

1:11.0

So he argues with Nimrod about the power of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

1:15.0

That is in the argument phase.

1:17.0

Now, he comes back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

1:20.0

And he asks Allah privately away from Nimrod.

1:23.0

He asks Allah,

1:26.0

Show me, O Allah, how do you resurrect the dead?

1:30.0

In front of Nimrod, he says, My Lord can resurrect the dead.

1:33.0

But now he's in front of Allah.

1:35.0

And he says, Ya Rabbi, show me, how do you resurrect the dead?

1:38.0

So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
