We're looking once again today at the Gospel of John,

chapter 16 verses 8 through 11.

Okay today we are looking at John 16 8 through 11 as I mentioned before.

This is Jesus speaking to his disciples and he says when he the Holy Spirit comes he will convict the world

concerning sin and righteousness and judgment now let's pause for a moment. This description that Jesus just gave

was something future to the disciples who were hearing it. But for us it's in our past.

The Holy Spirit has already come. You can read about that in the

book of acts chapter two and he came to inhabit believers in Jesus Christ. So friends if you are a follower of Jesus

someone who's placed your faith in him, you believe that his death, his burial,

and his resurrection

are applied to you because of your faith in him,
