And this week, I kind of want to follow on a little bit from what we were talking about last week in the pod.

So last week we were talking about how where attention goes, energy flows and how so many people

are unconsciously giving more of their energy and more of their attention to what they don't want

in life than what they do want. And I think that that is such a common problem. And even us bitches that

talk about manifesting all day long, we forget. We forget. And it's such an incredible reminder for me

to starve what I don't want of energy and to give what I do want more. Flood it with energy. And when I started to think about what I give a lot of

my energy to, it occurred to me that like so many people, I feel in a perpetual state of

busyness and overwhelm. And I feel like my body is in a constant state of

fight or flight. I feel like I am stuck in survival mode. And I think when you've been there

for a period of time, like, best fucking believe, survival mode

really serves you. It gives you that cortisol. It gives you that adrenaline. It makes you

fucking hustle. It gives you the anxiety to be like, I need to like work or whatever it is.

It makes you move, right? And that's what we need at certain times in our lives. But when we've

been in that space for a while, it can be hard to tell your body like, we're okay. You don't need to

be panicking anymore. Like the threat is over. We've got through that difficult time and we can actually relax.

I feel like the idea of relaxation for so many modern mothers is such an alien concept.

It's something that we actually need to talk about and to consciously choose to make it a part of our lives. So I have felt overwhelmed and

busy for, I don't know, maybe eight years now. Maybe eight years now. I'd say since I got divorced,

I would say since I got divorced, I moved out of my family home and me and my daughter, quick story time, me and my daughter

moved back to London. I lived in a one bedroom flat above a pub. Please don't feel sorry for us. We had a

fucking great time. We were having the time of our lives. But I was hustling. It was hard.
