Summary

At age 24, Keisha Greaves was in graduate school when she began to experience symptoms she couldn’t explain. As time went on, her symptoms increased and a diagnosis came, Keisha also worked to now grasp what her new life Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy would be. The world changed for her after diagnosis, from living a life with accessibility everywhere, to now navigating her every move with a need to accessibility for herself, and her wheelchair. Now, Keisha uses her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising as well as her Master’s degree in Business to form a brand to help create a fashion line for those who also live with chronic illness or Muscular Dystrophy called Girls Chronically Rock. Garnering attention from such media outlets such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, ABC News and more! Plus, she’s a motivational speaker on topics such as Balancing A Chronic Illness While Trying To Enjoy Your Everyday Life, as well as How To Be A Disability Advocate or Raise Money For Causes You Care About! Keisha may have had her life changed, but now she’s changing other’s lives by showing up exactly as she is, turning pain...into empowerment.
