Today we have a special edition. Given the nature of New Year's Day, I'm going to assume that you're

a little bit hungover. I am. And help cure that I've put together a collection of the best hungover

I'm not really sure how old I was. At this point, my mid-20s just kind of seemed like one big blur.

After enjoying myself at a craftier festival, we decided to take the boat we drove over there

and head back home. Unfortunately for me, the IPAs it took down kind of ruined my death perception

when trying to untie the boat from the dock. Next thing I knew, I was completely soaked and without a phone.

For the next month, I existed without the iPhone that had previously been strapped to me day in and day out.

I wore being fun that's almost like a badge of honor. I was off the grid, disconnected from the

outside world and living in the moment. But after that month was over, things started to catch up with me.

People couldn't get a hold of me when they needed to. I couldn't receive emails unless I was at a

computer. And frankly, I couldn't text certain girls I had my single eye on. I was in dire straits.

Well, I finally broke down and got a new one. I wasn't proud of it, but it was what needed to happen.

But it also made me think about whether or not losing my phone is the worst case scenario for

losing things while under the influence. My answer? I'm not really sure.

You see, losing your keys is inconvenient, but not the end of the world. Deep down, you always

assume that someone has a spare or you can call someone to help break into your place. Sure,

the dealership may charge you a couple hundred dollars for a new fob, but that's better than paying

a thousand bucks for a brand new iPhone X. On the other hand, you can also lose something a little
