I recorded this episode just even a day before grief hit.

Pretty hard in my own life.

It's been a difficult couple weeks if you follow me on Instagram you know that and it was just

by the loss of two friends who I wasn't especially close with but left this incredible impact

on my life and I felt myself feeling so angry and that there was such an amount of

unfairness to this entire thing.

Both of these women were mothers leaving children and husbands and I was just mad.

I was mad about it and I thought and reflected so much back on this episode with Nora and the

fact that I've been following Nora for so many years I actually found her through her TED talk.

She did this TED talk on grief and this notion that we don't really move on from those we lose.

We actually move forward with them and so we're going to unpack that today and talk about it and

talk about the fact that grief isn't just isolated to the experience of losing someone even though

that's sort of the origins of this story that we're talking about today but I also just want to

give you a little bit of encouragement into talking about grief, sharing about grief.
