Summary

LIVE IN MIAMI! Sports Illustrated’s Lauren Chan is here! Lauren is a model and TV personality here to share her story on her career, coming out (with a splash!) and how coming out helped her come more into her own, in so many ways. We talk about what shifted for her in no longer living for the male gaze, how her fashion has evolved with it - and what rooted her heart for talking about size inclusivity.

You draw your energy to the things that you're focused on and there's like that part of it. But I've never been like, yes, I will write this down on a board. Okay, but that is. I know. I know. So I'm the same way. Like, I'm not very woo-woo, but energy, attention, focus. Like, it does work. Yeah. And I was like, yes. And then it was like an hour later, I get this email from Sports Illustrated asking if I would like to come down and walk in this.

Swammy Swim Week weekend and we're wearing Knicks on the runway.

Yeah.

1:45.6

So it's like very aligned.

1:47.3

It was so like when it when I was first asked like I don't know if I told you

this but I was like ready to say no.

1:52.5

I was just like I was on.

wasn't ready for potentially what I know would happen, which is just like the negativity along

with the positive. I just like felt like so I can't even place it because the fact is I just
