In other China news, the former mayor of Arcadia, California, which is just part of L.A. is expected to plead guilty after

being charged with acting as an illegal agent of the People's Republic of China.

Eileen Wang and Yao Ning Soon worked at the direction of the People's Republic of China and

operated U.S. News Center, a website that catered to the Chinese community in America.

The Department of Justice said these two receive directives from Chinese officials to post

content favorable to the Chinese government and to spread propaganda on behalf of the People's Republic of China.

The co-conspirator serving a four-year federal sentence, she is eligible to serve up to

10 years. The family of a victim killed last April at a mass shooting at Florida State University

has filed a federal lawsuit against OpenAI. They're the owners of ChatGPT, saying that the chatbot

enabled the deadly attack. ChatGPT allegedly told the killer that it would

be more likely for his shooting to gain national attention if children were involved and noted

that two or three victims draws even more attention. In other Chat GPT news, a Texas couple

whose 19-year-old son died of an overdose last year, is also suing ChatGPT because their son

used it to get information about the drugs he used. Their lawsuit claims that ChatGPT is not

qualified to dispense medical advice. Specifically, ChatGPT advised their son that it was safe to take

Kratum in combination with Xanax.

The lawsuit claims that ChatGPT is capable of stopping a conversation if it's programmed to,

but instead it continued to advise self-harm.
