But first, our kids are more illiterate than ever. The National Assessment for Educational Progress

for eighth graders was released. 70% of eighth graders are below proficient in reading.

72% are below proficient in math. These are all-time lows. Fourth graders scored even worse.

And the standards are getting lower.

is bringing us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime in our communities once and for all.
