the Cuban Interior Ministry admitted yesterday that a Cuban Coast Guard vessel fired on a U.S.

registered speedboat, killing four men aboard and wounding six other passengers. According to the Cuban

Interior Ministry, the speedboat passengers began shooting at the Cuban Coast Guard vessel when it approached

them, wounding its commander. Then the fatalities occurred when the Cuban ship returned fire.

The statement says that Cuba reaffirms its determination to protect its territorial waters based on the principle that national defense is a fundamental pillar of the Cuban state in safeguarding its sovereignty and ensuring stability in the region.

The Attorney General of Florida said he has ordered prosecutors to work with federal state and law enforcement partners to start an investigation.

He said the Cuban government cannot be trusted, and we will do everything

in our power to hold these communists accountable. The superintendent of the Los Angeles

Unified School District was the subject of multiple federal raids yesterday, multiple reports

confirming that authorities conducted searches in his home and office. Reports from the LA Times

say that this might be related to a company that developed an

AI chatbot for the LA school district, the nation's second largest school system.

He was quietly run out of the Miami-Dade system after the appearance of financial impropriety.

He went to L.A. in 2022, which makes him the longest serving superintendent of the Los Angeles schools in over two decades.

President Trump's Surgeon General nominee, Dr. Casey Means, finally testified before a Senate committee yesterday in her attempt to be confirmed as the nation's top doctor.

It was delayed because she just had a baby in October.
