Met with much celebratory gunfire in the streets of Damascus. Many people waving the Syrian

revolutionary flag. It looked like the beginning of the Arab Spring. It was 14 years ago.

And then there was a brutal crackdown against it.

Many ransacked the presidential palace and the Assad family residence.

After Assad and his officials escaped, people with Louis Vuitton boxes.

And there's videos of garages full of Ferraris and Aston Martins and other luxury cars.

Some were seeing carrying bags, presumably full of cash from Syria Central Bank.

Donald Trump did an interview with Meet the Press.

Among other things, he said on day one, he will end birthright citizenship.

He said, we're going to have to get it cleaned up.

Or maybe I would go back to the people.

But we have to end it.

We're the only country that has it.

He was asked about the division that he caused in America because NBC just wants to bring

old worn out, past stuff up.
