of the day. But first, the head of Russia's radiation chemical and biological protection

troops was killed when his electric scooter exploded outside of his house in Moscow.

Sources from Ukraine's SPU security service like their CIA said they were behind the blast.

The UK foreign office said that the force that this Russian commanded had deployed,

quote, barbaric chemical weapons in Ukraine. CNN is confirmed that they were duped.

CNN's chief international correspondent, Clarissa Ward, was in Syria when the leader Assad abandoned his country.

And she was a part of a team that rescued or freed a civilian political prisoner of Assad's.

But it turns out the person who she was rescuing was actually a Syrian Air Force intelligence officer.

Whoops.
