And today we're talking about Paula right? Yes. Okay. I'm so traumatized from all the times that you've switched this up on me. I know.

But I never know what to expect now. It's been hard.

So we just did a Paula episode as our last episode of 2020 and now we're doing one for our first episode of 2021.

Tell us what did we just experience with Paula in the last episode we did and where are we picking up this whole OJ Simpson story.

I am fucking fresh because we just talked to him last week. I am ready. I love it when you're excited to be pop quiz.

So last week we went on a little break with Paula. We went to Memphis and we went to Florida.

She is estranged from OJ right now because he sent her away before going on the Bronco chase.

But then he called a Mulligan and just sort of got back together with her without really sort of proposing that as an idea.

He just assumed that she was into it and she sort of allows him to track her beam her back into this relationship.

And then she went back to LA and we left her on an airplane flying from Florida to LA to reunite with OJ and support him during this we now know nine month long trial.

Yeah. It makes so much sense to me why in the moment she made the choices that she did and to me what is important to me about this book is that it shows how the moment's pile up to become your life.

Yeah. That any single decision makes sense. Yeah. Even if the sum total of all of those decisions ends up not being great for her in the long term.

Yeah. And I feel like we all have things like that in our life. Oh yeah.

And then it's like he zoom out and then you're like, oh my god, I was okay since since girlfriend. Yeah.

And it's like, well, when you put it like that. Something I want to talk about now is something that she reminisces about in her book, which is how did the relationship start?

And when and what were its salad days? Like when things were good? What was that like the carrots, the tomatoes, the croutons give it to us.
