Summary

Yvonne Rouleau was a 34-year old wife and mother who operated a successful gas bar at the busiest intersection in Kingston. She and her husband Paul were working hard to make their dreams come—until it all came crashing down one Monday morning in 1991.

Last year I was contacted by a woman who was preparing her victim impact statement for an upcoming parole board hearing

and she had an important message for the public. Her name is Kerry Kehoe and she is the survivor of a heinous crime that occurred in

1990 in Kingston, Ontario and later connected by a single thread to three other completely separate crimes.

It was Monday, May 6, 1991 and Paul and Yvonne Roule were driving to work.

The couple had been married for 18 years and together they operated a couple of

gas stations in Kingston, Ontario. They no longer lived there though. They'd just moved with their three children to a small

community about 40 kilometers northwest of the city.
