An analysis of the HBO's Game of Thrones' episode Blackwater, in which we analyze the best or at least the most beloved episode of Game of Thrones season two, episode nine, which is, of course, Blackwater.

We thought it only appropriate, folks, since we're going through the Battle of Blackwater

on our regular chapter-by-chapter podcast that we talk about this episode of the show,

it was a lot of fun for us to revisit it.

Of course, everyone loves Blackwater, but, you know, it takes on certain new nuances and layers

when you come back to it after the end of the show.

And also just as we've continued to age at a frankly unacceptable rate. We really have to slow down this aging process of ours.

Yeah, what happened with that? How did we get old all of a sudden? That doesn't make sense.

How is it that Blackwater was released eight years ago and filmed nine years ago? Is that weird to you?

It's weird to me. Yeah, it's preposterous. It's like one of

those things where people say, oh, you know, Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks were actually born the

same year. And you go, whoa, and you have to reckon with the concept of time, which yeah,
