Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show. I have a very special guest. His name is Jeff Shepard. And he published a book, November 2021, 2021, titled The Nixon Conspiracy, Watergate and the plot to remove the president. And right now on Amazon, in the U.S., it has 41, five-star reviews. It also has an audio book if you're interested in that.

But it's really a fascinating book.

I read through a majority of it today.

It's not his first book.

He published in 2015, The Real Watergate Scandal,

Collusion Conspiracy in the Plot that Brought Nixon down.

And then in 2008, he wrote,

The Secret Plot to Make Ted Kennedy president inside the real Watergate conspiracy.

And he came to DC in 1969 as a White House fellow

after graduating from Whittier College in Harvard Law School.

He was the youngest lawyer on President Nixon's White House staff,

and he served on the domestic counsel for five years, rising to associate director.

He also worked as deputy counsel on Nixon's Watergate defense team, and he spent much of his career researching Watergate issues and is today the foremost authority on behind-the-scenes developments,

both at the White House and the Watergate Special Prosecution Force as the scandal unfolded.
