We catch up on a busy week around Major League Baseball.

We take a week off from recording, and naturally, we get multiple trades, one unexpected big contract swap, one in which the Red Sox land another quality starting pitcher.

We get a huge free agent signing, Dylan Cease, breaking the seal at the top of the market on the pitching side with a seven-year deal with the Jays. We've got some relievers on the move. And we've got some stuff that I think is actually pretty interesting that would be almost front of rundown had those things not happen. So that's what happens. You take a week off, you eat some turkey, you come back, and you've got two and a half hours of content, you know? Yeah, we pod like 50 weeks of the year.

Pretty much, yeah, about 50 weeks of the year. We think Thanksgiving's a good week to take off.

And Major League executives don't take Thanksgiving week off. They are, they're just animals.

They make trades the day before Thanksgiving a lot of times. I remember writing the Brewers Padres, Luisurias, Eric Lauer, Trent Grisham deal a couple of years ago in a coffee shop the day before Thanksgiving. I mean, having anything going on. I was happy to do it, but they don't stop. So before we get into the aforementioned content,

how was your Thanksgiving? Well, it was great. We went to Fresno, fabulous Fresno, and saw the

family out there. We did get stuck in pretty mammoth traffic. We were supposed to leave Tuesday and there were some meetings and some things

that went down and we left Tuesday at 5 o'clock.

That's not a good time to go anywhere in California.

No, so turned a two hour and 45 minute thing into the four plus.

Good job.

Congratulations.

That work wasn't great.

And we didn't make turkey.

I made a beef roast.

We had some nice scallop potatoes.

It's pretty mellow.
