tonight's nightcap. It is day 131 of the second Trump administration. And it was another week of

confusion and conflicting legal rulings and a whole lot more. Let's start

with tariffs. It was red light, green light as the president delayed 50% tariffs on the

European Union that he had just announced. Then a court struck down nearly all of the tariffs,

only for that ruling less than 24 hours later to get paused. And just now, Trump has announced that

tariffs on steel imports will double to 50% from 25%. On immigration, the Supreme Court reversed

a Biden administration humanitarian program giving the White House permission to revoke the legal

status for over half a million immigrants.

And on Ukraine, Trump said Putin has gone absolutely crazy and was playing with fire.

Yet, hey, he has been very vague about any new sanctions or other actions he would actually take against Russia.
