Summary

New Orleans is mourning the loss of at least 14 people after a pick-up truck drove into a crowd of people in the city’s French Quarter in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

morning in the American city of New Orleans, Louisiana. They claimed the lives of 15 people,

including the attacker who drove a vehicle into a crowd of early morning New Year's

celebrants. The FBI has said the attacker acted alone, that there were no apparent accomplices.

The FBI is still asking for anyone to come forward with information. They are still developing

the case and trying to determine the motivations behind this attack.
