And today we're going to be covering, well, a couple movies, one of them that we've had a lot of listener requests for us to analyze.

And that's this movie Civil War directed by Alex Scarlin, starring Kirsten Dunson, a few others that was released a few months ago in spring of

2024, and obviously we're just recently past the 4th of July. And early on in this movie

directed and written by Alex Carlin, there's a reference to a plot point taking place on

that date. And obviously, the theme of America falling into violent internal conflict is really

relevant to broader ideas that might come up for us around that holiday.

And joining us to discuss the film are our good friends William Ramsey of William Ramsey

investigates and Sean McCann of Wake the Dead.

And we wanted to have these guys on to talk with Brett and I about this movie. Well, one, because

it's always great to talk to them and also because several months ago earlier this year,

the four of us talked about the movie, Leave the World Behind, this Obama-produced post-apocalyptic

movie about the country falling apart because of disinformation and pessimism and failure to trust the

experts. And we picked apart the hyper-lib technocrat with a splash of mind control portrayal
