Yes, there is a time to answer but what Peter has said is ultimately for a

cynical community that you're in, it is not your persuasive arguments that end up being

the greatest witness. It is how you are obedience. That is how you put the

silence, the ignorance of foolish people.

As always, I'm your host, Molly Vitavitch. Fortunately in America today,

Christians aren't facing torture or death for speaking the truth about Jesus.

But there are parts of the world where that is still a daily reality.

The Bible makes it clear that if you're really following Jesus,

then the world's going to oppose you in one way or another.

So what do we do when we're mocked or excluded because of our faith?

What if we're shunned by our family or fired from our job because of the

convictions that we hold? Pastor JD answers that question with a message called

the mysterious witness of submission and suffering.

I realize that to this audience that I'm speaking to in particular,

talking about submission is like rubbing a cat's fur the wrong way.

It definitely does not set well with you and there's a handful of reasons for that

that you should realize. One is you are sons and daughters of Adam and Eve,

the original rebels and their genes are in you, their blood is in you,

and so that's just what you are about nature.
