And now it's time to take a closer look at this past Cowboys game with upon further review.

Frustrating loss to the cow for the Cowboys to the Cardinals on Monday night.

And each game is a collection of a lot of plays.

And so often the game comes down to about three or four that really make a big difference in it.

What was Norm's big deal?

Five plays you may not have noticed.

And so many times games come down to about four or five plays that really change the tone of them.

And we'll focus on some of those here on upon further review.

And I really think, as we talked about throughout the day on Monday, or I'm sorry,

on Tuesday, is that that opening drive was so defeating on the heels of the Cowboys in Denver

having to settle for a field goal on their first offensive possession.

Here they have fourth in goal at the four.

And I put this up on X, showing you that sometimes it just comes down to one block or two,

the difference between a failure on fourth down and what would have been

a touchdown. The Cowboys decide to go for it at the four-yard line. They have three receivers

out to the left side. Wide is Flannoy. In the middle of the three receivers is Lamb and Ferguson is in the slop,

as Greg Olson would say.

Flanoy does an interesting route, a double move where he moves to his left, then crosses the

goal line back to his right.

That draws the attention of two cardinal defenders. That's what

they think the Cowboys are trying to hit. Lamb in the meantime goes down the goal line to the right,

and Ferguson really crosses both of those guys and goes to the corner. He is so wide open, you could shot put the ball to him,
