This segment, I'd like to talk about the state of hockey in America.

We can start with the Stanley Cup final, which is set, and it'll start on Wednesday, Florida, at Edmonton.

And had Dallas gotten by Edmonton, were they going to be a match for Florida, in your opinion?

Would that have been a good series, or is Florida that good?

Yeah, I mean, yeah, it could have been a fantastic series.

Of course, they faced off against one another in a two-game set in Finland

earlier in the year.

And I actually thought that was one of those, oh oh my Lord, we've got a ways to go here

set because they infantilized the stars in those two games in Finland. Like it was, it was like,

oh, that's what a Stanley Cup champ looks like. It really felt that way. And, you know, you go through

all this and you add Miko Ranton in and you're getting

healthier and, you know, Miro Haskinen's coming back and you're feeling like he's going

to get better every day.

And, yeah, I don't think they would have felt like it was, you know, mission accomplished

just to get to the final.

They would have given them a go.

There's no question in my mind.

Would have needed your goal tender to outplay Bob at the other end of the rink.

Bob Brovsky, who's been just sensational for them.

But, yeah, it could have been, it could have been an outstanding

series. And, you know, the, the sort of marquee of it in a lot of ways would have been the coaches

who are longtime deep, good friends. And they would be going head to head. One guy excused
