We are on the road in San Francisco for Super Bowl 60.

That kind of hit you upside the head, doesn't it?

Super Bowl 60?

That just has a different ring to it.

Maybe it's because we've been coming to these things for so long,

all the way back when the Cowboys used to go to them.

We were at Super Bowl 27 and 28. 28 was the first one that the ticket

covered and Super Bowl 30. We were there for that the last time the Cowboys went there now 30 years

ago. And it seems like year after year we always say, okay, well, what are these other teams doing to get here?

I think we're going to find some common themes here, and it's what the Cowboys used to do.

Yeah, these two teams got here differently, and they are the two ways that you can do it.

New England blew the whole thing up, got really bad, and rebuilt.

And the Patriots were obviously a dynasty for 20 years.

And then it started falling apart and they missed the playoffs in 2020. They got back,

but lost in the wild card round in 21. And then Belichick was gone a couple of years later.

And they got really bad. They had back-to-back four and 13 seasons. But they got really high

draft picks and they drafted Drake May. So they got their quarterback of the future and they had to change their coach a couple

times and they land a really good coach and Mike Brable.

And I think everybody thought that was a great fit, former Patriot, and now he's got a young

quarterback and maybe they're a little ahead of schedule.

I think we're going to see that on Sunday.
