You're a big Cowboys guy. You were a part of our NFL draft coverage again, what now month

and change ago, or last month. And sounded great, by the way. Our coverage is just so fantastic

with our cast of thousands. And I've been interested to get your take on this Cowboys offseason.

I'd like to start with Brian Schottenheimer and just your take on the coach so far and what you've heard.

He's a person I know only by reputation.

He was a pretty quiet assistant here for a couple of years.

When he was 35, I believe, he was in the running for another job and then hasn't been

mentioned as a head coach possibility for the 15 years in between.

Everybody seems to think he's a dynamite guy, and he's trying to, what he says,

establish a new culture.

Well, without any criticism of Shottie.

What was wrong with the culture last year?

This team was pretty tight.

We didn't have guys going off, flying as assistant coaches and things like that. But every head coach, especially the new ones, they launch their own program.

And he's welcome to do that.

I will say one thing.

I'm not certain getting extremely close to players is a good thing for a head coach.
