In parts 1 and 2, we went through the disappearance of Sierra just yards away from her driveway.

The search for her, the arrest of James Whirley, the literal nightmare that was the dungeon

in his barn filled with human restraints, blood on the walls, and a carpeted freezer with

a seat in it.

But now almost two years after her disappearance on March 12, 2018, the monster responsible

for whatever went on in that barn, in the attic, in that bedroom closet, and under his

house is finally on trial.

In the prosecution's opening statements, contrary to media reports, they revealed that Sierra

did in fact have injuries, and they were to her head.

She had a skull fracture on the top left side of her head, along with a laceration to

her forehead.

But as we know, this isn't what killed her.

In fact, there was no evidence at all of brain trauma, despite clearly being beaten extensively.
