Hey everyone and welcome back to Big Mad True Crime where we get Big Mad

over True Crime. I'm your host Heather Ashley and today's case is out of North

Carolina and it is tragic and messy and infuriating. Small talk sucks so let's

dive in.

Once upon a time in the mid 2000s a couple named Laura and Robert fell in love.

Robert was a proud member of the Lumby tribe and that something his family

took whole-hearted pride in. The couple wasn't rich and their relationship

was far from perfect but they made it work. Robert worked whenever he could while

Laura went to school. Laura's grandmother knew they were struggling so she left

them live in a trailer that she owned. In 2009 Laura got pregnant and in July

2010 they welcomed their first baby a girl they named Savannah but despite

now being a family of three the relationship was very hot and cold. A few months

after Savannah was born the pair split but in March of 2011 Laura decided that

her and Robert were gonna try and make things work and it looks like it kind of

did because just six months later they got hitched. Two months after getting

married Laura found out she was pregnant with their second child and low

and behold it was going to be another girl. Throughout the second pregnancy the

relationship continued in its toxicity played with jealousy and relationship

drama plastered all over Facebook for the world to see but they stuck it out

and on June 23rd of 2012 the couple welcomed their second daughter who they

named Peyton. The relationship drama continues even as parents of two and

everything looks like it finally comes to its final head in November of 2014.
