At 7.20 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, Lizzy Marriott's phone

buzzed next to her. It was Kat from work, checking in on the plans they'd made together earlier that day.

Cat invited Lizzy over to her place, the studio apartment she shared with her boyfriend Seth,

to watch a movie.

Hopping in the shower, be out in 20 minutes,

just in case you're out early, Kat's scent.

At 8.21 PM, Lizzy texted back,

okay-doke, just got out of class.

Lizzi didn't have a ton of friends in New Hampshire.

She'd moved there from Westboro, Massachusetts to her great uncle and aunt's house in Chester to save a little money on

Rubin board while she was in school. She had a part-time job at Target and that's

where she met Cat. Lizzy told her aunt Becky and Uncle Tony that she was heading to a friend's house that night

and she'd be home no later than midnight. It's a 35 minute drive from the University of New Hampshire

campus to Dover,

Lizzy stepped into Kat and Seth's apartment building

just before 9 PM that night.

On Wednesday morning, Becky and Tony noticed that their niece wasn't home.

Maybe it got late and Lizzy just crashed at her friend's place.

But on Thursday morning, there was still no sign of Lizzy.
