Go please to the book of Genesis this evening again.

We have been on the subject now for some weeks of the moving of the spirit.

Can the spirit move in cold weather?

He doesn't get stiff and froze up, does he?

No, no, absolutely certainly never know.

He's always ready to move.

And we are hungry to learn better how to yield to him

and allow him full movement, not just in church, but at home

and on the job and everywhere all the time. Genesis 1, 1 says in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth

and the earth

was without form and void and darkness was upon the

face of the deep and the spirit of God

moved upon the face

of the waters

say that out loud that last part of that verse.

And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

He moved.

Does he still move today?

Oh, thank God, yes.

And if you ever experienced much of the moving of the spirit,

then nothing else will satisfy you forever after that because nothing else compares.

And there's a whole lot of stuff that people get hyped up about and there's a lot of flesh
