Right, welcome back to the Hackett Out Golf Podcast. We're talking strike today.

The biggest of all the subjects, and still lots of golfers maybe don't think or realize,

and we'll talk about that a bit, just how important your golf strike is,

into you playing better golf and understanding where the ball's going and trying to improve.

So we're going to talk strike with Lou and Greg.

I'm not sure this is Lou's strongest suit,

but we'll see what he's going to offer.

How is your ball striking?

Greg, how would you class your ball striking?

You know, what would you say? What does it even mean to you that word? Because I don't mean in the generic term, you know what I mean? Oh, he's such a good ball striker. That kind of classic

cliche phrase. Like, you know, your quality of strike is going to be decent as a PJ talk player.

Have you got any issues with your strike?

Not as many as I used to. I used to be decent as a PGA talk player. Have you got any issues with your strike? Not as many as I used to. I used to be quite, to me strike is talking about like how,

particularly with irons, how you contact it, the sound, how much you can squash the ball and still

produce a flight you wanted.
