Welcome back my friends. I'm glad you're joining me for the morning mindset. It's time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

We're doing that right now by looking at

Philippians chapter 2. The last few episodes we've introduced this section by

looking at verse number one where the apostle Paul lays out a foundation

a foundation of position for us as believers in Christ meaning what position

are we in as we come together as believers in Jesus Christ.

Where has Jesus placed us?

Well he says he's placed this into a place of encouragement

because what Jesus has done for us. He's placed us into a position of love where God has poured out his love on us through Christ.

He's placed us into a position where we share in the spirit of God

we have this amazing resource of the third person of the Trinity as a

common factor, a common bond, and he's placed it into a place where we have

affection and sympathy for one another because we all

are sinners saved by the grace of God who are now Saints who have a new position in God. And he says because we're in that

position we need to be of the same mind. Have that same love be in full

accord with one another.

And what Paul is doing here is he's addressing a conflict that had come up in the

Philippian Church.

And he's going to go on now in verse number three, and he's going to go on now in verse number three and he's going to tell us

the attitude that goes on behind the scenes of the believer who is committed to

living in a place of unity with other believers.

And I think we need this in the church, desperately. Let's go on, let's look at
