filed against these universities. The federal government is trying to take action about it.

And to talk about this, we have someone who is a real expert in this area. In fact, he is

recognized internationally as an expert on human and civil

rights. It's Ken Marcus. Good to be with you, Hans. Ken, thanks for being here. Ken is the

founder, chairman, and CEO of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law. I think I got

that correct, right? You did. And in one try. Yes. Right.

The Louis D. Grandi Center. But he also has a lot of experience working for civil rights in the government, the federal government.

He was the Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education.

He was the staff director of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, at which point, I think that may have been when I first met you, right?

You actually interviewed me for a job over there.

I think we met even before then during the George S.B. Bush administration during my first tenure at the education department,

and you were, I believe, in the Justice Department doing voting rights.

Yeah, no, I was in the civil rights. Anyway, he's also, he's a former professor, teaches as a lecturer at George Washington University, has written numerous books, articles, and a former partner in two different law firms also.
