Summary

In 1910 New Orleans, Annie Crawford is the modest sister of three very vibrant young women. While they stroll the cobblestone streets wearing fashionable clothing, Annie is demurer. She might have been jealous; she might have been insecure…or perhaps she didn’t care. But when one of her sisters becomes gravely ill, Annie doesn’t seem concerned. Why?
