This week with the help of my son Sebastian, I'd like to return to the world of Pokemon.

This week we're looking at Dreepee.

Sebastian, would you tell us a little bit about Dreepee?

Dreepee, the lingering Pokemon, a dragon in Ghostite, found in the Galar region, pulling it to rebirth as a ghost Pokemon.

Dreepee wanders the areas at used to inhabit when it thrived in prehistoric seas.

Notable for its boomerang shaped head, Dreepee evolves into Jalok and Jagapot.

Unable Dreepee actually serve as companions for the Loken Jagapot.

During battle, the Jagapot even launches them out of horse on its horns like missiles. Don't worry, think of it.

The interesting thing about Dreepee's design is that this prehistoric Pokemon is clearly modeled after a very real prehistoric amphibian that lived during the late

carboniferous to the late Permian, the Diplocalis. They were lepospondylide, notable for their salamander-like bodies, eel-like tail, and bizarre boomerang-shaped skulls with tabular horns.
