I'm Jason Walkab, founder and CEO of My Buddy Green, and the best-selling author of Wealth.

In 2009, I had two extruded discs in my lower back and was told I needed back surgery.

But I didn't want surgery and I didn't want pills. I began practicing yoga and

turned to some of the best functional medicine doctors and wellness experts in the

industry to help my healing process. That was the beginning of my journey and the journey of my muddy green.

The first contributors to my muddy green were some of those same people who helped me, the best

in the wellness business, like Dr. Frank Lippman and Tara Stiles. They wrote articles

that changed the way people viewed their own health and with my buddy Green

kick-started a new conversation about health, one that wasn't happening, a conversation that just

wasn't about the physical body. It was a 360 degree approach to health and

wellness that incorporates mind, body, spirit, and environment.

These experts became not just some of the first contributors,

but also some of my best friends.

I've watched them build their businesses

and seeing their successes and failures firsthand. I've watched them grow as

as entrepreneurs, as doctors, as healers, and seeing them build their families.

In fact, in some cases, we've grown our families together.

Since 2009, my buddy green has grown

as we now have over 5,000 global contributors

and an audience of 10 million people

who are on our site every month.
