Florida State has hired its head football coach, announced today.

Actually, I'm recording this on Sunday.

Announced at officially announced today at the 12 p.m. press conference, Mike Norvell, formerly of Memphis,

widely regarded in coaching circles as one of the top young minds in the game and highly thought of

across the board. This is not a guy who's going to be heading up any,

any most overrated coaches lists anytime soon. But this is a guy who, we're going to have a lot

to break down here. But there's a lot to like about Mike Norville. And I guess the first place to

start is I'm actually not as familiar with Norville as I am with some of the other coaches

that we've talked about. I've mentioned that on some of the earlier discussions on this podcast. I'm not

quite as familiar with Norvel as some of these other guys as, for example, Campbell or Brom, some of

these others who I've spent a little bit more time breaking down

than others but i did get i did take the opportunity to ask around a little bit and and it's worth

bringing up two different conversations that uh that that should be brought in here so first
