It's June, the dog days of summer.

But busy time in football recruiting for the fighting Irish. We'll talk about that so much more. Mr. Goolsby, how are you doing, my friend, what's doing your world? I'm good, man. I just got back. I was in Vegas for a few days for work. So that was the thing, kind of fully recovered from that. I've had a, yeah, I haven't seen you in a

month. It's amazing how fast time goes. Welcome back. Good to be back, J.C. So, yeah, I've been

out here just training kids, you know, kind of getting them prepped up for some of these camps.

And you and I talked offline a year ago, and you were talking about just the recruiting and how

important these mega camps are.

I had a kid that I've really poured into over the last couple years.

And he went to a mega camp at Lindenwood University outside St. Louis.

And he walked out of there with 10 offers, dude.

Let's go.

F&A, dude. So I was just like, couldn't be more proud of him. And, you know, to get that kind of validation back as his, like, as his trainer or coach or whatever, it's just like, I was walking on clouds, you know, for a few days to follow. I'm not going to lie, man. I might be walking on clouds for a few days to follow because I gave you some advice and it worked. Yeah, yeah. Well, because, you know, again, I mean, you're more dialed into the recruiting here and it's just like what else should I be telling these families? What else should I be telling these kids just to try and point them in the right direction. And, you know, I had two kids, these are all defensive linemen, all three of these players. Two kids go last year and they got 11 offers between the two of them. So, what was it? It was like one got 11 and one got three. So yeah, between those 3D linemen, it's 24 offers out of one camp in two years. So it's, uh, we're doing something right over here.

I mean, like, because I was just at Irish invasion, Notre Dame's big invite camp, um, by the summer and you have so many kids who, I mean, I'm sure it was a great day to work out. but if you're coming from the south and you're going up to Notre Dame and you have like no offers

I mean you really don't what what's the point of going to that but you go to one of those mega camps where there's like 50 fbs schools right you got some power fives you got fcccd2 i mean you're just getting so much more bang for your buck there's also going to be a lot more kids at that kind of camp. But if you're good, then, you know, you can impress a lot of people.
