So when the Yankees lost last night, they have now dropped five consecutive home games

that have reached extra innings. They now have a record of one in five at home in extra innings.

And I started to give a thought.

I started to think to myself,

is that just a coincidence?

Is that it?

There's nothing there.

Or, you know, we got to think about the new rule.

There was a man-fred man on on second base is there a reason why the

Yankees have been so bad at extra inning games at home and I have my reason and I

think last night is a perfect example of it.

Last night, the Yankees somehow, some way, kept the Guardians from not scoring in the 10th and the 11th inning.

Now, when you do that, you should win. I mean the advantage is so in front

of you when all you've got to do is get that guy from second around to score.

And when you are starting the top of the 10th inning,

yeah, you'd like to get that run home,

but that may not be enough.

So the way you strategically play out an inning

can be very, very different. The Yankees somehow and think about how many

times this probably happened, they don't give anything up in the 10th, they don't give anything

up in the 11th and they still lose an extra inning game at home.

How the hell is that possible?
