Let me get this out of the way when it comes to the Mets.

And I'm not going to budge on this.

I fully believe the Mets are going to the postseason.

I felt that all season long.

And I still stand here today as they get ready to go down to Atlanta,

a place that outside of last year, that memorable day has not been kind,

has not been very kind.

So I totally understand what they are facing.

I totally understand the frustrations of the fan base.

After watching this team over the last, you know, let's call it two months.

My best advice that I could give going forward here is that you have to fight those frustrations the best way you can.

And based on where they are at in the standings right now, going forward in the remaining 20 plus games that are left,

treat each day like a one-game playoff situation.

That's too many days, too many games to go.

You can't do that.

Well, when you're playing the Braves, maybe.

Every day I want to treat it as a one-game playoff because I think that would that will help everybody sort of channel their emotions when it comes to this team.

Because right now everybody's on this emotional roller coaster and there's just hysteria from the fan base.

And I think that you have to sort of minimalize it and simplify it to keep everybody calm.

That seems exhausting.

Right?
