We're going to cover the book of Micah, which is a really important and wonderful book to give you kind of a bullet point list of what we're going to do before we jump in. |

| 1:22.0 | So Micah is one of several prophets who warns the people of the impending destruction of the Northern kingdom the southern kingdom he overlaps for the most part with isaiah so he comes just after |
| 1:34.1 | amos he may overlap with hosea a little bit um isaiah is someone who prophesized during the |
| 1:42.6 | rains of uzziah jothamam Ahas, and Hezekiah. |
| 1:46.1 | And Micah doesn't lift Uzziah as someone he prophesized during his reign, |
| 1:51.8 | although we know it's just right at the end of Isaiah that Isaiah prophesied. |
| 1:56.2 | But other than that, it's the same list as we get with Isaiah. |
| 1:58.8 | It's Jothamah has and Hezekiah. |
| 2:01.7 | So they are largely contemporary. |
| 2:03.5 | Isaiah seems to start before Micah and go until after Micah. |
| 2:06.2 | He has a longer ministry. |
| 2:07.8 | But most of their ministries are contemporary with each other. |
