A major leadership exodus over at the startup darling, Open AI as top talent,

including two co-founders announced their departures in just the past few days.

Could it be a growing trend hitting the startup industry?

It's part of this tension emerging in AI

between the mega caps that are developing the technology

and then the investors that are looking for returns and

increasingly getting a little impatient caught right in the middle are some of the

most promising gen AI startups who are increasingly being swallowed up by the

mega caps as they struggle to find viable

business models really any revenue. This week open AI co-founder and president

Greg Brockman said he will take an extended leave to quote relax and recharge also this week character AI's co-founders

and more than two dozen researchers went to Google for Nome Shazir one of the

founders there it was a return to Google where he co-authored that

famous Transformers paper that essentially kick-started the modern Gen-A-I age. Now these

latest moves they continue a trend. Gen-A-I darlings are dropping like flies.
