Yeah, well, Taylor. Yeah, so tell us a little bit about yourself, man. So you were a Navy rescue swimmer. I was six years was that.

I'm a joint 2010 got out at the end of 2016 and I was in after I finished the training pipeline. I was in Guam for four and a half years. I must have sucked.

Oh, yeah, I know you're being sarcastic, but it wasn't fun for a really. It wasn't why not. It was a lot different than I thought I thought we were going to the island and it was going to be a bunch of beautiful island women and hanging out on the beach.

Everyday. Yeah, I wasn't like that. And I'm kind of a drink. I mean, even to the military to make like the funnest things like miserable. Yeah, they succeeded. They succeeded. But we had a good. I think the only thing that was awesome out about it, I still look back about it and think about it as the guys were out there with for freaking cool dude.

I had a good group of guys out there that made a shitty situation tolerable. Why was it shitty? Just in general like Navy bullshit or that. Yeah, that and Guam was kind of dynamic and not to get too deep too soon into this.

Yeah, I'm not. No, our producer is looking at us giving me the eyes. Get deep, brother. That was Guam was a different beast in itself because there's a. It's surrounded by by cool reef and that that was a lot of our rescues.

There are a lot of calls we got were getting guys to her second stuck on the reef and whatnot. So most time when we came out there, they were already dead.

Pretty good call to the washing machine. They get sucked under the reef and their bodies would be rolled on razor blades. That's what that's what we would go out there and just getting me to death. Yep.

So that was the calls. A lot of calls we got other than that. We got a lot of medevac calls were just operated as ambulance keeping people stable. Yeah, the other islands out there didn't have hospitals like one was the only major hospital in the mayor on silence. Okay.

So if somebody got shot or fell off cliff or something on another island, they they'd call our island and we fly out there and pick them up and then stabilize them on the way to the hospital. Okay.

That was the majority of our calls. So it was a lot of.

It was a lot less guardian and a lot more like we were corners or. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. So this was something that you weren't prepared for at all when you originally signed up. No, I thought it was going to be all right. You say my life, man. Yeah. Like the guardians. Yeah. Yeah.

You know, I thought we were having Kevin Kostner on for a minute. Yeah. No.

We're zashed in that. I'm still waiting to meet Ash Kutcher and tell him, fuck you, dude.

My five hundred times twice as fast. I'm looking for a man. You got to get you got the gum stick to the side of it. You're ready to go. So like how did you get into like is that something you've always wanted to do or like I mean you saw the movie and you're like, yeah, I'ma do that.

Well, like how did you get into Navy rescue swimming? I did see the movie and I did think it was super cool.

I was on the swim team in high school and I thought if I was going to swim, I should try and use this for other people. I know it sounds cheesy, but that's fair.
