Hello there. I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast as all I start to

shift to 24 Tuesday did provide a pretty big day for decision 2023.

It's an off-off year.

This past Tuesday was a fairly big day in 2023.

We had the Republican primary for governor in Kentucky close ally Senate Majority Leader

Mitch McConnell who's been groomed for this race, arguably for a decade.

He's Attorney General Daniel Cameron.

He fended off the rest of a field including a pretty costly challenge by

former UN ambassador Kelly Kraft she had picked up the endorsement of Florida

Governor Ron Desantis earlier this week and was running a much more culture

war heavy campaign similar to what DeSantis has done in Florida

and it seemed to crash and burn. She ended up finishing third. Democrats kept the Pennsylvania State

House in another hard fought special election.

Party successfully nationalized that election focusing pitches around, you guessed it,

the future abortion rights.

Obviously that seems to have been a driver there as well.

Plus it's been another bad night for election deniers.

Kentucky Secretary State Michael Adams fended off not one but two candidates who had cast doubt over the legitimacy of the

2020 elections and a Pennsylvania judge ruled in favor of Trump's effort to

overturn the presidential results lost her primary for the state Supreme Court yes

Pennsylvania is one of those states that thinks it's a good idea to elect judges.

And finally, we saw a major upset, or some thinks it's a major upset if you believe what happened just six months ago, but in Jacksonville, Florida,
