In terms of basketball fit, what players on the roster do you think fit with Kyrie and Flag

and what players would you target in the off season? Great question. Because I think the Mavs this season, we've seen, I talked about the identity crisis was slightly in the episode after the Sun's game where this Mavs team just can't close. They can't create any offense and they've got all these issues. And so I started to look around and I was like, all right, what do the top six teams in each conference right now?

So the Pistons, Knicks, Celtics, Cavs, Raptors, Sixers, Thunder, Spurs, Nuggets, Rockets, Lakers, Timberwolves. That might change by the end of the year, but just I wanted to look at those teams. Like, what did all those teams have in common? What's the what's the 2026 competent basketball team have around them?

And can I take Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving and build that team so that next year the Mavs are back up there? Or the year after that, the Mavs are back up there in the top six competing, actually making the playoffs and making some noise. I think I know what all these teams need. This is what they need. Ready? Two top players. They've got to be all-star level. Can Cooper Fly get there? Probably the way that he's been playing lately. Like he's been, like the last 20 games or so, he's been playing at an all-star level. Not all these guys are actually all-stars, you look at like Yokic and Murray.

Murray hasn't been an all-star until this year. Look at Kevin Durant and Alford and Shingun. Like Shingun wasn't an all-star until he was named a replacement. You look at like Luca and if you count Austin Reeves or LeBron, right? You count those guys. Anthony Edwards and Julius Randall. Like Randall is not an all-star, but he's an all-star, like, level-type player, right?
