So Richard Baum, he has served at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy or ONDCP for two decades in a variety of positions through five presidential administrations.

He was acting director of

ONDCP or Drugzar from March 2017 to February 2018 in this position. And this was with the

first Trump administration. So he was the first drug czar under President Trump. He served as the

principal advisor to the president of drug policy

and worked directly with cabinet secretaries. He did it all. He did it all. Much of his tenure

as acting director, he served concurrently as executive director of the president's commission

on combating drug addiction and the opioid crisis.

So who else who knows this subject better than him?
