I was recently in a book study about a book by a famous exorcist who he seemed to have a view

that demons affect us more often than we realize. He also set down some guidelines about who can

bless whom. Basically, fathers can bless their whole family as head of the household, wives can

bless the children, but not the father, children can bless each other, but not the parents,

and this is because demons are very legalistic and they only respect people with proper authority

over them. This seems to contradict the fact that Christ gave us the power to drive a out demons.
