On April 28, 2020, a man was arrested for a crime committed against a woman on the job.

In the spring of 2020, the U.S. Postal Service in Indianapolis suspended delivery at the home

of 21-year-old Tony Cushenberry, citing an

aggressive dog on the property. According to the president of the National Association for

Letter Carriers, Tony ignored two letters warning him to contain his dog, and because of that,

a third letter went out letting him know that his mail would be held until the situation was dealt with.

Amongst that held mail were two long-awaited federal stimulus checks.

With Tony fuming on April 27, 2020, his 45-year-old postal service worker, Angela Summers, walked past his address on North Denny Street and was confronted by an incredibly angry man.

According to a witness, Tony Cushingberry aggressively approached Angela, complaining about the lack of delivery, and followed her up to a neighbor's porch.

Angela worried for her safety, reached for a can of pepper spray,

and pointed it at the man standing in her face.

He responded by pulling a handgun out of his waistband and pulling the trigger.
