This is episode 16 of TerroBites, the podcast where I just shout, short entertaining bite-sized lessons on how to read

tarot. For today's episode our topic is The Lovers. So if you're ready, go ahead and get your tarot deck out and let's begin.

So I want to start out by saying this.

This is the car that everyone wants to see in their reading,

especially when they are asking about relationships.

After all, the lovers does symbolize potential romance, but there's a lot more to this card

than just that.

So let's begin by diving into the symbols.

Now, the lovers is ruled by the number six.

The number six favors harmony and balance.

So right there that tells you that there is a message in this

card about finding harmony and balance or the balance of two opposites. Now you might have also

noticed this big angel in the card and you know it's hard not to

notice the angel because that angel takes up about half the picture. This angel is the archangel Raphael who is often associated with healing.

I want you to think about that for a minute. Although we you know tend to attribute romance to the lovers, the image of the angel adds another element.

It's the healing power of love.

Now also if you notice the angel is holding his hands in a symbol of blessings.

I like to say this symbolizes maybe perhaps a match made in heaven.

Or that might be a sign of universal love as in we're all connected.
